For home-services trade businesses
Finish the paperwork in the truck, not at the kitchen table.
Raptly is a field app for technicians and a cockpit for owners. Technicians talk instead of type and take a photo instead of scrolling. Owners see reviews, demand and marketing spend in one place. It works beside the field-service management software you already use.
For iPhone and iPad, in English and Spanish.
- Works with the software you already use
- Read-only until you turn it on
- No cookies, no trackers
- English and Spanish throughout
The work gets done. The paperwork runs late.
Most of a technician’s day is spent fixing things. The rest disappears into screens that were built for the office.
- Notes typed with thumbs in a customer’s driveway, or left for the evening.
- Price-book searches that end in a hand-typed line item.
- Shared jobs credited to whoever happened to close them.
- Owners piecing together reviews, marketing spend and where the work comes from, one report at a time.
How it works
Connect your field-service software
We start read-only. Once the connection and your technician list are set up, jobs, customers and your price book are read in so technicians can see their work. Nothing is sent back.
Technicians capture in the truck
Voice notes, equipment photos, stock counts and closeout checklists, with or without signal. The technician confirms what gets saved.
You decide what writes back
Turn on write-back one category at a time, only after a trial period shows the results match. One switch returns everything to read-only.
For owners and the office
A cockpit that answers the questions you ask on Monday morning.
- Shared jobs, credited fairlyWhen several technicians work one job, check-in records are used to propose how the revenue should be credited. You choose whether proposals wait for your review or are applied automatically.
- Reputation next to your competitorsYour public ratings and review counts shown beside nearby competitors in your trade.
- Where demand comes fromCompleted jobs ranked by ZIP code over the period you choose, so you can see where demand comes from.
- Cost per booked jobEnter what you spend on each marketing channel and see what each booked job costs, calculated from the numbers you enter.
- A weekly summaryThe week’s key numbers and anything waiting on you, sent by email or to your team chat channel.
- Your crew at a glanceAdd, suspend or remove technicians, and see each truck’s latest position with how old that reading is.
For technicians
Built for gloves, glare and bad signal.
- Talk instead of typeHold to record a note. It comes back as draft job fields next to the transcript, and you confirm them with one tap. The customer signs their consent on the device before you record on their property.
- Photo instead of scrollPoint the camera at an equipment nameplate. The serial and model number are read on the device itself, and you check them before they are saved.
- The price book answers as you typeStart typing a line item and matching price-book items appear, even without signal.
- Truck stock in minutesCount what is on the truck, adjust by voice if that is faster, and request what needs restocking.
- Closeout checklistsYour shop decides what each job needs before it is closed, such as a serial number or a photo, and the app shows what is still missing.
- Membership offers at the right momentA prompt with talking points when a customer is eligible for your membership plan, and one tap to record the answer.
- Keeps working without signalCaptured work stays safely on the device, in a queue that shows what has not been sent yet, and is sent from the app when you have a connection.
- Check in, check outTap in and out of a job so shared work is credited to everyone who did it.
- Find your crewSee where teammates’ trucks are right now, so you can hand off a part or help on a job.
- English and Spanish throughoutEvery screen, error message and consent text is available in both languages.
Built to coordinate, not to watch
- Crew visibility shows each truck’s latest position and how old it is, from the vehicle’s own telematics device. Raptly keeps only that latest position, never a history of where anyone has been, and the app never uses a technician’s phone location. A company’s own vehicle-telematics provider may keep trip history under that provider’s own terms.
- Nothing is written to your field-service software until you switch it on, and you can switch it off at any time.
- Work captured without signal stays on the device, in a visible queue, until it is delivered.
- This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or trackers.
